Louis Roederer Cristal Rosé 2014

Louis Roederer Cristal Rosé is the house's prestige rosé, from the oldest biodynamic parcels in the estate.

Cristal was created in 1876 for Tsar Alexander II, who wanted a clear bottle with a flat base so no bomb could be concealed in the punt, and the house has made it only in declared vintages ever since. The rosé is produced by maceration from Pinot Noir on the house's finest Grand Cru sites, all farmed biodynamically, and is held in the cellars for years before release and again after disgorgement.

Serve at 11 degrees with lobster, duck or truffle dishes. It rewards twenty years or more.
