Description
Lungarotti Pometo Sangiovese IGT is an approachable red from Umbria, a region often overshadowed by neighbouring Tuscany but deeply connected to Italy’s winemaking history. The rolling inland landscapes of Umbria produce Sangiovese with a softer, more relaxed style while still retaining the grape’s unmistakable Italian character.
Part of Lungarotti’s contemporary Pometo range, this wine reflects the estate’s commitment to creating accessible, everyday wines while remaining connected to Umbrian tradition. Lungarotti has been instrumental in bringing international attention to the wines of Torgiano and Umbria since the 1960s.
This is a relaxed and versatile Italian red made for casual dinners, shared plates and easy drinking with friends and family.
