Lungarotti Rubesco 62 Rosso di Torgiano DOC 1.5L MAGNUM 2022

Lungarotti Rubesco 62 Rosso di Torgiano DOC is the estate's signature Sangiovese from Umbria, here in magnum.

Giorgio Lungarotti began bottling the wines of Torgiano, a small hill town just south of Perugia, in the 1960s, and the estate remains the reference point for Umbrian wine. It is still family-run. Rubesco was the wine that made the estate's name, and the 62 on the label marks 1962, the year it was first produced. It is made entirely from Sangiovese grown on the hills around Torgiano.

A versatile red for pasta with ragù, grilled meats, roast pork and medium-aged cheeses; serve at around 16 to 18 degrees.
