Maison Camille Giroud Beaune 'Les Avaux' 1er Cru is a Pinot Noir from one of the Côte de Beaune's respected premier cru vineyards, made by one of Burgundy's oldest négociant houses.

Founded in Beaune in 1865, Maison Camille Giroud has long been admired for a distinctive, purist approach to Burgundy: rather than buying grapes, the house traditionally purchased finished wine from small growers and matured it patiently in its own cellars before release, a practice that has shaped its reputation for elegant, true-to-terroir wines. Les Avaux is a premier cru vineyard on the slopes above Beaune, part of the patchwork of sites that give the town's red wines their characteristic structure and depth, shaped by Burgundy's cool continental climate and limestone-rich soils.
