Marc Brédif Vouvray Collection Museum Release is an extraordinary piece of Loire Valley wine history: a Chenin Blanc from Vouvray that has survived for well over five decades. The domaine was established in 1893 as Château les Roches and took the Marc Brédif name in 1919. It has built an exceptional reputation for long-lived Vouvray, and a genuine estate Museum Release from a vintage as distant as 1970 sits in a category of its own. This is not simply an older bottle of wine; it is a chance to drink a wine made more than fifty years ago.

Vouvray is one of the great demonstrations of Chenin Blanc’s extraordinary capacity to age. Naturally high acidity gives the variety the framework to evolve over periods that would be unthinkable for most white wines, developing layers of complexity while retaining remarkable vitality.
