Description

Mike Press VS Range Pinot Noir is a step-up Pinot Noir from selected estate fruit in the Kenton Valley, Adelaide Hills.

This range sits above the family's standard wines, using selected estate fruit for more concentration and detail. Pinot Noir needs cool conditions to hold its delicacy, and the Hills are one of the few parts of South Australia where it does reliably well, with red cherry, fine tannins and fresh acidity. Mike set up the vineyard near Lenswood after a long career with bigger wineries.

Silky and fragrant, with more depth than the standard Pinot. Chill lightly to 14–16°C and pour with duck, roast quail, salmon or mushroom risotto.
