Millton Libiamo Chardonnay 2021

Millton Libiamo Chardonnay is a medium-bodied, biodynamically grown Chardonnay from Gisborne on New Zealand's North Island.

Wild yeast ferments, minimal additions and patient maturation are the rule in the cellar, matching the biodynamic calendar the family farm by. Theirs was the first New Zealand winery certified organic, and later biodynamic, and synthetic sprays and fertilisers have no place here. This range draws on that same fruit and approach. The estate was founded in 1984 at Manutuke, where the rivers have left fertile alluvial soils under a warm, sunny sky.

Textured and fresh, with ripe fruit and bright acidity. Good at 10–12°C with pork, scallops, roast chicken or a hard cheese; drink it young.
