Description

Millton Te Arai White Blend is a biodynamically grown white blend from a single riverside vineyard in Gisborne on New Zealand's North Island.

Best known for the estate's Chenin Blanc, the site also supplies the white varieties blended here. Since founding the winery at Manutuke in 1984, the family have farmed organically and then biodynamically, a first for New Zealand, using no synthetic sprays or fertilisers. The climate is warm and sunny, the soils alluvial, and in the cellar they keep things hands-off.

Textured, fresh and food-friendly. Good at 10–12°C with roast chicken, pork, seafood pasta or a mild curry, while it is young.
