Description

Ministry of Clouds GG is a white wine from the cool-climate Adelaide Hills, a new addition to the producer's range.

Ministry of Clouds was founded by Julian Forwood and Bernice Ong, who make wine from carefully selected vineyards across South Australia from their base in McLaren Vale. GG comes from the Adelaide Hills, a high, cool region in the Mount Lofty Ranges east of Adelaide, where elevations of 400 to 600 metres, cold nights and a long growing season preserve natural acidity and aromatic freshness in white grapes. The region has become Australia's leading home for Austrian and northern European white varieties, which thrive in these conditions. The wine is made in a fresh, unoaked style and bottled under screwcap.

A fresh, light-bodied white to enjoy with salads, schnitzel or Asian-inspired dishes; serve at around 8 to 10 degrees.
