Ministry of Clouds Riesling 2025

Ministry of Clouds Riesling is a dry Clare Valley Riesling from a small, independent South Australian producer.

Ministry of Clouds was founded by Julian Forwood and Bernice Ong, who left careers in the wine trade to make wine from carefully chosen vineyards across South Australia, working from a base in McLaren Vale. Their Riesling comes from the Clare Valley, the country's most celebrated home for the variety, where high elevation, warm days and cold nights produce Rieslings of intense citrus character and bracing natural acidity. The wine is fermented dry in stainless steel to preserve its purity, without oak, and bottled under screwcap, the closure Clare producers pioneered for Riesling. It is delicious young and can develop toasty complexity with age.

Crisp and light-bodied, it is a natural partner for oysters, grilled fish or Thai salads; serve at around 8 to 10 degrees.
