Monte Tondo Nettare di Bacco Recioto di Soave 500ml 2024

Monte Tondo Nettare di Bacco is a Recioto di Soave, the sweet wine of the Soave hills.

Recioto is made the same way as Amarone, by drying the grapes before pressing, but fermentation is stopped while sugar remains, which gives a sweet wine rather than a dry one. Here the grape is Garganega, dried through the winter on racks. Recioto di Soave was the first appellation in the region to be awarded DOCG status. The wine comes in a half-litre bottle.

Serve cold at 9 degrees with almond biscuits, fruit tart or blue cheese. An opened bottle keeps for several days.
