Description

Moss Wood Ribbon Vale Chardonnay is grown on the estate's second Wilyabrup vineyard in Margaret River.

Chardonnay in Margaret River ripens slowly under maritime influence and keeps its acidity, which is why the region's whites have the structure to age. Ribbon Vale was acquired by Moss Wood in 2000 and is vinified separately from the home block. The wine is whole-bunch pressed, fermented in French oak and matured on lees.

Serve at 12 degrees with roast chicken, fish or a soft cheese. It develops over eight years.
