Mount Horrocks Cordon Cut Riesling 375ml 2026

Mount Horrocks Cordon Cut is a sweet Riesling made by cutting the canes and leaving the fruit to dry on the vine.

The method is the estate's own invention and gives the wine its name: the fruiting canes are severed while the bunches still hang, so the grapes raisin on the vine without botrytis, concentrating sugar and acid together. Stephanie Toole has made it since the early 1990s and it has become one of Australia's benchmark sweet wines. The vineyards at Watervale are certified organic.

Serve cold at 8 degrees with fruit tart, crème brûlée or blue cheese. It develops over a decade.
