Description

Mountadam Eden Valley Cabernet Sauvignon comes from high, cool vineyards above the Barossa floor.

The Eden Valley sits several hundred metres higher than the Barossa, on ancient weathered soils, and its cold nights give Cabernet firmer structure and more aromatic lift than the valley below. Mountadam has farmed on the High Eden ridge since 1972 and is certified organic. Fermentation is in small open vessels with maturation in French oak.

Serve at 17 degrees with roast lamb, beef or hard cheese. It develops over twelve years.
