Mountadam Five-Fifty Cabernet Sauvignon 2022

Mountadam Five-Fifty Cabernet Sauvignon is named for the 550-metre altitude of the estate vineyards.

The Five-Fifty range is the estate's more approachable tier, made for earlier drinking than the High Eden single-block wines, though from the same cool ridge above the Barossa. Cabernet ripens slowly at this height and keeps a firm, leafy edge. The vineyards are certified organic. Maturation is in French oak, largely seasoned.

Serve at 17 degrees with roast lamb, beef or hard cheese. Drink over the next eight years.
