Mountadam High Eden Walter Shiraz 2022

Mountadam High Eden Walter is a single-block Shiraz from the estate's organic vineyards at altitude.

The Walter block sits on the High Eden ridge above 500 metres, where Shiraz takes on the pepper and firm structure of a genuinely cool site. The estate bottles it separately as one of its top wines. Mountadam was planted in 1972 by David Wynn and is now certified organic. Fermentation is in small open vessels with French oak maturation.

Decant and serve at 17 degrees with beef, game or a mushroom dish. It develops over fifteen years.
