Description

Mt Difficulty Roaring Meg Pinot Gris is a ripe, aromatic Pinot Gris from New Zealand's far south.

Central Otago is the world's southernmost major wine region, with a continental climate of hot summers and frosty nights. Mt Difficulty's Roaring Meg wines draw on fruit from across the region and are made for early enjoyment. A fully ripe 2025 season gave this Pinot Gris real richness and weight. It opens with pear, red apple and clove spice, and the palate mixes orchard fruit with cream and baking spice, carried by cool-climate acidity to a long finish. It is made in a drier style that works well with food.

Chill it and serve with pork dumplings, a chicken laksa or roasted pumpkin with sage.
