Munda Wurundjeri Country Pinot Noir Yarra Valley 2023

Munda Wurundjeri Country Pinot Noir Yarra Valley is a fresh, medium-weight Pinot Noir from Victoria's Yarra Valley, Wurundjeri Country.

The Wurundjeri people are the Traditional Owners of much of the land around Melbourne, including the Yarra Valley, and this Aboriginal-owned label names them on the bottle. The Yarra was Victoria's first wine region and remains one of Australia's leading homes for Pinot Noir, thanks to a cool climate and a mix of grey loam and red volcanic soils. This wine is aromatic and true to the variety, with red and dark cherry, cardamom and white pepper, rose and a leafy, earthy forest note, supported by good acidity and fine, elegant tannins.

Try it slightly cool, at around 14 to 16 degrees, with roast duck, mushroom tart or seared salmon. Drink now or over the next few years.
