Description

Murdoch Hill Pinot Noir is the estate's regional bottling from Oakbank in the Adelaide Hills.

The Adelaide Hills is the main home of Pinot Noir in South Australia, its altitude providing the cool conditions the variety needs. The Downer family has farmed the Oakbank property since 1998. Fruit is hand-picked, fermented with a portion of whole bunches and native yeast, and matured in French oak with little new wood.

Serve at 15 degrees with duck, pork or a mushroom risotto. Drink over the next six years.
