Murdoch Hill Vis-à-Vis Cabernet Franc 2025

Murdoch Hill Vis-à-Vis is a varietal Cabernet Franc, rarely bottled alone in Australia.

Cabernet Franc is usually a blending grape here, but in the cool Adelaide Hills it ripens to the perfumed, red-fruited style it shows in the Loire rather than turning green. Vis-à-Vis continues the estate's carriage-naming theme. Fermentation uses whole bunches and native yeast, with maturation in seasoned French oak.

Serve slightly cool at 15 degrees with roast chicken, charcuterie or grilled vegetables. Drink over the next eight years.
