Description

Nick O'Leary Tumbarumba Chardonnay comes from high vineyards in southern New South Wales.

Tumbarumba sits on the slopes of the Snowy Mountains at up to 800 metres, the coolest viticultural area in New South Wales, and its Chardonnay is tight and citrus-driven with real acidity. The fruit has long been sought by sparkling producers for the same reason. Nick O'Leary works with growers there alongside his Canberra District vineyards. The wine is barrel-fermented with lees ageing.

Serve at 12 degrees with scallops, roast chicken or a creamy pasta. It develops over six years.
