Description

Nick Spencer Clarus Pinot Gris comes from cool vineyards in southern New South Wales.

Clarus means clear or bright in Latin. Pinot Gris picked in a cool, high site keeps the acidity to finish dry and textural rather than broad, which is the difference between the Italian and Alsatian approaches to the same grape. The wine is fermented cool with lees contact for weight.

Serve at 10 degrees with pork, roast chicken or a soft cheese. Drink within four years.
