Nick Spencer Wines Medium Dry Red Blend 2023

Nick Spencer Medium Dry Red is a Shiraz-led blend from Gundagai in southern New South Wales.

Gundagai lies on the slopes between the hot Riverina plains and the alpine high country, which gives Shiraz a savoury, medium-weight profile rather than the richness of the warm inland. The medium dry red name, like light dry red, borrows from the way Australian wine was labelled before varietal names took hold.

Serve at 16 degrees with grilled meats, lamb or a mushroom dish. Drink over the next six years.
