Nicolas-Jay Affinités Chardonnay 2022

Nicolas-Jay Affinités Chardonnay is a composition of several Willamette Valley vineyards, built to reflect a single vintage.

The name Affinités speaks to the connection between sites: this is not the voice of one vineyard but a blend of carefully chosen parcels, tempered and assembled to capture the spirit of the season. The project is a joint venture between Jean-Nicolas Méo, whose family domaine in Vosne-Romanée is among Burgundy's most respected, and Jay Boberg, a friend of many years. The approach is Burgundian at heart, aiming for finesse and detail, with fruit, texture and acidity in balance.

Try it with a whole baked snapper, mushroom vol-au-vents or soft cow's milk cheeses. Serve chilled, then let it warm a little in the glass to open up.
