Riserva Nino Negri Valtellina Superiore DOCG is a benchmark expression of mountain Nebbiolo (Chiavennasca) from the terraced vineyards of Valtellina in Lombardy. First produced in 1959, it reflects the region’s dramatic alpine terroir, where steep slopes, high altitude and mineral-rich parent rock shape wines of finesse, structure and longevity.

Grown on sun-exposed terraces carved into the mountainside, the vineyards benefit from optimal light while maintaining freshness from the alpine climate. In this environment, Nebbiolo develops a more elegant and lifted profile, defined by precision and balance rather than sheer power.

Extended cellar ageing is central to the Riserva style, building harmony and complexity over time. The result is a refined and structured wine, combining depth with elegance - an enduring expression of Valtellina’s unique mountain character.
