Noble Rot Issue 27, A Trip Into The Unknown, is a single issue of the London wine magazine.

The centrepiece is a guide to truffles for wine drinkers, with input from Kermit Lynch and Clare Smyth, from Brett Graham, and from Carlotta Rinaldi, whose Barolo shares the cover with some enthusiastic truffle pigs. Elsewhere the issue profiles newer Burgundy domaines including Domaine Dandelion, Camille Thiriet and Charles Lachaux of Arnoux-Lachaux. Dan Keeling interviews the novelist Irvine Welsh about his brief career as a wine columnist; and there is a post-lockdown tour of Paris restaurants and wine bars.
