Old Kempton Creative Cocktail Gift Set 3x50ml

Old Kempton Creative Cocktail Gift Set is a boxed trio of 50ml Tasmanian spirits with a branded nosing glass.

Three miniatures make up the set, the Apple Liqueur, the Lavender Malt Liqueur and Six Shillings Gin, along with an Old Kempton branded Wee Glencairn glass. All three come out of Dysart House at Kempton, north of Hobart, where Rob Tyson distils. The Apple Liqueur follows a recipe by Lyn Lark: local cider taken twice through a copper pot still, then sweetened with syrup. The Lavender Malt uses flower heads from the Port Arthur Lavender Farm steeped in the distillery's malt spirit. Six Shillings is a contemporary Old Tom carrying 14 botanicals, mango, passionfruit and pepperberry among them.

This suits someone who mixes at home and wants material to work with: the liqueurs go into sparkling cocktails, an Aviation or a twist on a mojito, and the gin holds its shape in a Martini. It also makes a low-commitment introduction to the distillery.
