O'Leary Walker Adelaide Hills Chardonnay 2026

O'Leary Walker Adelaide Hills Chardonnay is a pure, tightly framed cool-climate Chardonnay from the Adelaide Hills.

The Adelaide Hills rise above the city in the Mount Lofty Ranges, and their elevation brings the long, cool ripening that gives Chardonnay natural acidity and finesse. The Clare Valley winemaking partnership behind the label, David O'Leary and Nick Walker, turns to the Hills for its cool-climate whites. The young 2026 shows white peach, nectarine and creamy lemon with grapefruit notes, fleshy stone fruit, fine texture and linear acidity leading to a long, precise finish.

Well chilled, it is a natural match for grilled fish, chicken schnitzel or zucchini flower fritters. Its taut structure will soften and broaden with a year or two in bottle.
