Description

O'Leary Walker Adelaide Hills Sauvignon Blanc is a zippy, handpicked Sauvignon Blanc from Lenswood in the Adelaide Hills.

Lenswood is one of the higher, cooler sub-regions of the Adelaide Hills, long regarded as a source of fine Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. David O'Leary and Nick Walker, best known for their Clare Valley reds and Rieslings, look to these cooler hills for their fresher whites. The approach here is simple: pick by hand and capture freshness. The result has a lively, appetising bouquet and a crisp finish, with a spread of tropical fruit on the palate led by lychee and gooseberry.

Serve very cold with fresh oysters, a goat's cheese tart or Vietnamese rice paper rolls. Drink it young and fresh.
