O'Leary Walker 'Hurtle' Sparkling Pinot Noir Chardonnay NV

O'Leary Walker 'Hurtle' Sparkling Pinot Noir Chardonnay is a fresh, creamy South Australian sparkling built on the classic Champagne grapes.

Made by the Clare Valley-based team of David O'Leary and Nick Walker, Hurtle blends Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, the two grapes that underpin Champagne. The fruit is understood to come from the cooler Adelaide Hills, where acidity holds well for sparkling base wine. It is pale straw with white blossom, lemon sherbet and lightly toasted brioche aromas and a hint of strawberries and cream, followed by a light, creamy palate of citrus and honeyed biscuit.

Pop the cork well chilled for afternoon drinks, or serve with prawn cocktail, sushi or a soft cheese board.
