O'Leary Walker Watervale Riesling 2025

O'Leary Walker Watervale Riesling is a fleshy, fruit-driven Riesling from the Watervale district of the Clare Valley.

Watervale's red soils over limestone, in the south of the valley, give Riesling a generous, fragrant style that contrasts with the tighter wines of Polish Hill River. It is one of two sub-regional Clare Rieslings made by the partnership of David O'Leary and Nick Walker. The 2025 is pale straw with green glints, and shows intense lemon, finger lime, wild fennel and apple blossom, with a fleshy palate of lime and citrus.

Chill well and pour with grilled flathead, chicken san choy bau or a summer salad. Drink young, or cellar for years to come.
