Oliver's Taranga Vermentino 2025

Oliver's Taranga Vermentino is a dry white from a Mediterranean variety suited to a warming McLaren Vale.

Vermentino grows along the Ligurian and Sardinian coasts, where it holds acidity in heat and gives a saline, citrus-driven white. The Olivers planted it as part of a deliberate shift towards varieties that suit the region's climate rather than fighting it. Corrina Wright, the sixth generation, makes the wines. Fermentation is cool, in stainless steel, without oak.

Serve at 10 degrees with seafood, salads or grilled fish. Drink within three years.
