Description
Oliver's Taranga Chica is a dry rosé made from Mencía, the Spanish variety.
Chica means girl in Spanish, a nod to the grape's origins in Galicia and Bierzo. Mencía's natural acidity and pale pigment suit a dry rosé, picked early and pressed straight away rather than bled off a red ferment. The family grows it at Taranga in McLaren Vale, where they have farmed since 1841.
Serve at 9 degrees with seafood, salads or a summer lunch. Drink within two years.
