Opawa Pinot Gris 2025

Opawa Pinot Gris is a fresh, textural Marlborough Pinot Gris with time on lees for a gentle creaminess.

Named after the Opawa River that winds through Marlborough, this label comes from the team at Nautilus Estate and focuses on fresh, fruit-led wines from the region. Marlborough's cool nights and long sunshine hours help Pinot Gris hold its acidity while building aromatic depth. Poached pear, quince and orange blossom sit with ginger and spice on the nose, while the palate offers citrus and ripe pear with lees-derived creaminess and a crisp, long finish.

Serve well chilled with pork and ginger stir-fry, a mild fish curry or antipasto. Drink within a couple of years.
