Opawa Pinot Noir 2023

Opawa Pinot Noir is a silky, expressive Marlborough Pinot Noir made for early enjoyment.

Made by the winemaking team at Nautilus Estate, the Hill-Smith family's Marlborough property, this label is named after a local river. Marlborough Pinot Noir tends toward bright red fruit and fine tannins, a style that suits the range's fresh, approachable focus. Dark cherry, redcurrant and rose petal meet clove and savoury spice, and the palate is silky, with ripe red fruit, fine tannins, earthy undertones and bright acidity leading to a long finish.

Slightly chilled, at around 14 to 16 degrees, it is lovely with salmon, pork belly or a charcuterie board.
