Description

Ox Hardy Blewitt Springs Fiano is a textural white made from the southern Italian grape that has found a real home in McLaren Vale.

Fiano, originally from Campania, handles warm, dry summers well while keeping its freshness, which is why so many McLaren Vale growers have taken it up. This one comes from Blewitt Springs, the higher, sandy district where Andrew 'Ox' Hardy's family vineyard sits. Pale straw in colour, it offers nashi pear, white flowers and citrus on the nose. The palate is fresh and mineral, with a textural, balanced feel and green apple and pear running through a long finish.

Chill well before pouring. Fiano loves seafood, so try it with grilled prawns, salt and pepper squid or a summery vongole linguine.
