Palliser Estate Chardonnay 2024

Palliser Estate Chardonnay is a rich, creamy Chardonnay from one of Martinborough's founding wineries.

Located at the southern tip of New Zealand's North Island, Martinborough enjoys warm days, cool nights and free-draining, gravelly terraces that suit Burgundian varieties. Palliser Estate was among the early pioneers of the district in the late 1980s and is best known for Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. This wine is medium lemon with gold flecks, showing golden peach, nectarine, vanilla, brown butter and almond meal. The palate is sumptuous and full-bodied, with stone fruit, vanilla oak and hints of crème brûlée and apricot pastry on the finish.

Serve lightly chilled, around 10 to 12 degrees, with roast chicken, pork belly, crayfish or a creamy seafood chowder.
