Description

Palliser Estate Pencarrow Sauvignon Blanc is a crisp, cool-climate Sauvignon from the Wairarapa's best-known village.

Martinborough's dry autumns and cool nights let Sauvignon Blanc ripen slowly, building intense aromatics while keeping bright acidity. Made by Palliser Estate under its Pencarrow label, this is a classic Kiwi style with a Martinborough accent. Pale lemon and bright, it has passionfruit, orange blossom, apple, nettle and pink grapefruit with a hint of musk. The palate is crisp and dry, generous and layered, with a long, mouth-watering finish.

Pour it very cold with fresh oysters, asparagus with hollandaise, or a goat's cheese salad.
