Patrick Sullivan Willow Lake Chardonnay 2025

Patrick Sullivan Willow Lake Chardonnay is a single-vineyard Chardonnay from the Upper Yarra Valley, made by a small, sought-after Victorian producer.

The site is long established and well regarded for Chardonnay, up in the higher, cooler and wetter end of the Yarra. Fruit there ripens late and slowly, giving tight acidity, fine texture and length. Although based in Gippsland, the winemaker works with small vineyards across the hills east of Melbourne, making each in small batches and releasing them in limited quantities.

Refined and linear, with a savoury, textural finish and the structure to age. Serve at 10–12°C with roast chicken, veal, scallops or mushroom dishes.
