Pitchfork Moscato NV

Pitchfork Moscato is a lightly spritzy, low-alcohol sweet wine from Margaret River.

Part of Hay Shed Hill's easy-drinking Pitchfork range, this Moscato is made in the fresh, grapey style that has won the variety so many fans in Australia. Muscat grapes give the classic perfumed, floral aroma, and plenty of natural grape sweetness is retained, keeping the alcohol to around 7%. A gentle prickle of fizz lifts the palate, while a zesty lime edge keeps the sweetness in balance. The colour carries just the faintest blush of pink. As a non-vintage wine, it is blended for consistency and freshness from one release to the next.

Serve it icy cold, straight from the fridge. It is lovely on its own on a warm afternoon, with a fruit platter or pavlova, or alongside mildly spiced Thai and Vietnamese dishes. Drink it young while it is at its freshest.
