Description

Poggio Anima Asmodeus is a Sicilian Nero d'Avola from the island's warm interior.

Nero d'Avola is Sicily's most planted red grape, named after the town of Avola in the south-east, and it holds acidity in heat better than most varieties, giving a medium to full-bodied wine with dark fruit and a savoury finish. The Poggio Anima range names each wine after an angel or demon. Fermentation is in stainless steel with short oak ageing.

Serve at 16 degrees with grilled lamb, pasta alla norma or aged cheese. Drink within six years.
