Poliziano Rosso di Montepulciano 2024

Poliziano Rosso di Montepulciano is the estate's younger Sangiovese, released well before its Vino Nobile.

Rosso di Montepulciano uses the same grape and the same hillsides as Vino Nobile but requires only a few months of ageing, which gives a fresher wine and lets the estate keep only its best fruit for the senior bottling. The soils around Montepulciano are clay and sand at moderate altitude in southern Tuscany. Fermentation is in stainless steel with brief time in oak.

Serve at 16 degrees with pasta, grilled meats or pecorino. Drink over the next five years.
