Description

Pooles Rock Premiere Blanc de Blanc is a traditional-method sparkling made from Chardonnay.

A blanc de blancs is made from white grapes alone. Chardonnay picked early for sparkling comes in with the high acidity and low sugar the method requires, which is achievable in the Hunter if the fruit is harvested well before the still-wine picking date. The wine is bottle-fermented and rested on lees before disgorgement.

Serve at 8 degrees as an aperitif, or with oysters and fried food. Drink on release.
