Description

Pooles Rock Premiere Shiraz is a medium-bodied Hunter Valley red.

Hunter Shiraz is earthy and savoury rather than rich, a consequence of humid summers and an early harvest, and it ages for decades on that structure rather than on power. The region has grown the variety since the 1860s. Maturation is in oak, with the fruit left to lead.

Serve at 16 degrees with roast lamb, beef or aged cheddar. It develops over a decade.

*Every effort is made to ensure the current vintage is accurate; however, variations can occur. If you are after a specific vintage, please contact us prior to ordering.
