Primo Estate La Biondina is a zesty, tropical-fruited white from McLaren Vale, made from Vermentino.

La Biondina means 'the young blonde' in Italian, and the name suits this cheerful, summery wine. Primo Estate originally made it from Colombard, and the current release is built on Vermentino, a Mediterranean grape that thrives in McLaren Vale's warm, sea-breeze-cooled climate. It is made to capture bright fruit salad flavours of passionfruit, guava and pineapple, finished with a crisp citrus edge. Light, lively and moderate in alcohol at 12%, it is one of the most approachable wines in the family's range and tastes of summer all year round.

Keep it cold and pour it with grilled prawns, fish tacos, a Vietnamese noodle salad or simply as an aperitif on a warm evening.
