Quartz Reef Pinot Noir 2022

Quartz Reef Pinot Noir comes from the Bendigo terraces in Central Otago, the world's southernmost wine region.

Central Otago is the only part of New Zealand with a continental climate: hot days, cold nights and a short, intense season on schist and glacial soils. The winery takes its name from the quartz reef running through its Bendigo estate, land that was mined for gold in the nineteenth century. The vineyards are certified biodynamic. Fermentation uses native yeast with maturation in French oak.

Serve at 15 degrees with duck, venison or mushroom dishes. It develops over ten years.
