Radford Dale Renaissance Chenin Blanc 2023

Radford Dale Renaissance Chenin Blanc is a finely tuned, site-expressive Chenin Blanc from Stellenbosch.

Chenin Blanc is South Africa's most widely planted white grape, yet for years it was overlooked by drinkers and winemakers alike. A new generation of Cape producers has shown what it can do, making bright, mineral wines of real character, and this wine belongs to that revival, as its name suggests. The winemaking team draws on a deep understanding of one vineyard and intervenes as little as possible, so the wine reflects its site through freshness, elegance, finesse and purity. Citrus fruit leads, with a refreshing saltiness on the finish.

Serve chilled but not icy, at around 8 to 10 degrees. Pair it with grilled line fish, scallops, Thai-style salads or soft goat's cheese. It has the structure to develop for several years.
