Description

Radford Dale Vinum Chenin Blanc is a fresh, medium-bodied Chenin Blanc from South Africa's Western Cape.

The Vinum wines are made by the Radford Dale team in Stellenbosch to show the Cape's signature grapes in an honest, approachable way. Chenin Blanc, the country's most widely planted white variety, performs brilliantly here, holding its acidity through the warm, sunny growing season. This one offers fresh pear and ripe peach with a zesty touch of lemon. The palate is elegant, and a subtle, appealing bitter twist adds depth before a crisp, refreshing finish. It is a well-priced introduction to Cape Chenin.

Serve well chilled with fish tacos, chicken and leek pie or a mild Cape Malay curry.
