Description

Radford Dale Vinum Pinotage is a juicy, medium-bodied Pinotage that shows South Africa's own grape at its most approachable.

Bred in Stellenbosch in the 1920s from Pinot Noir and Cinsault, Pinotage is unique to South Africa and can range from light and perfumed to dark and powerful. This version, made by the Radford Dale team, sits in the middle ground. It is deep purple, with strawberry, mulberry and a rosewater perfume that is typical of the variety, and wild berry and dark forest fruits on the palate. Grippy tannins then give way to a clean, fresh finish.

Pour at around 16 degrees alongside a braai, sticky pork ribs, pulled beef or a hearty bean chilli.
