Ramos Pinto Quinta da Ervamoira 10 Year Old Tawny Port

Ramos Pinto Quinta da Ervamoira is a ten-year-old tawny from a single estate in the Douro Superior.

Ervamoira lies in the Douro Superior, the hot, remote eastern end of the valley near the Spanish border, where the house planted vertically up the slope rather than on terraces, a method it pioneered in the 1970s and which is now standard. Single-quinta tawnies are unusual; most are blended across estates. The wine is aged in cask at Vila Nova de Gaia.

Serve in small glasses at 14 degrees with dried fruit, hard cheese or dark chocolate. An opened bottle keeps for months.
